Fact is, in order to break old habits, we have to slowly introduce new things in small bite-size chunks that allow us to feel accomplishments along the way. We have to allow ourselves space to learn and un-learn. To fuck up and get back on track without a whole dialogue around guilt, fear or discouragement.
Ayurveda teaches us that doing seasonal cleanses is good for our body, as a way to rid toxins and fortify our insides, based on what is happening in our surroundings. We tend to believe the beginning of Spring season is the only time to do a cleanse. However, Ayurveda believes that seasonal cleanses help to maintain our bodies and mind in the long run.
